ON-FARM LIVERY

AB Europe is offering livery facilities at a purpose-built on-farm unit owned and run by our cattle vet, Gavin Tait, at Westruther, Berwickshire. The unit has facilities to house up to 30 donor cows with individual donor pens, custom-built handling systems and collection area. 

One of the main advantages of the IVP process is that we can collect every seven days, so in a short period of time we can do multiple collections when compared to traditional flushing. Additionally, with donors housed in our livery we can tailor collections and programmes for individual animals in an effort to maximise success.

This facility is designed for clients who may have fewer cows to collect from, or where ‘on-farm’ collections become cost prohibitive. By collecting from a larger number of donors a day, in close proximity to the main laboratory, we can offer you a more cost-effective service.
